ABOGADOS QUE SON INOCENTES......

En Inglaterra una persona estaba siendo juzgada por asesinato. Había evidencias indiscutibles sobre la culpa del imputado, pero el cadáver no aparecía. Casi al final de su alegato oral, el abogado, temeroso de que su cliente fuese condenado, recurrió a un truco: - "Señoras y señores del jurado, señor Juez, tengo una sorpresa para todos" -dijo el abogado, mirando hacia su reloj- "Dentro de dos minutos, la persona que aquí se presume asesinada, entrará en la sala de este Tribunal." Luego el abogado que se quedó mirando hacia la puerta. Los miembros del jurado, el juez, todos ellos sorprendidos miraban también llenos de ansiedad. Transcurrieron dos largos minutos y nada sucedió. El abogado, entonces, finalizó diciendo: - "Realmente, dije eso y todos ustedes miraron hacia la puerta con la expectativa de ver a la supuesta víctima. Por lo tanto, quedó claro que todos tienen dudas en este caso, de que alguien realmente haya sido asesinado. Es por ello que les ruego que consideren a mi cliente inocente, ya que ante la duda el mismo debe ser declarado absuelto". (In Dubio pro reo). Los jurados, visiblemente sorprendidos, se retiraron para la decisión final.
